Well I am from New Zealand, but I have to say that the decision was correct. I think it is clear that when you say 'grand-parents', you don't mean 'great grand-parents'. The New Zealand Rugby League chairman has quite rightly resigned and, if it is shown that any other board members or the coach knew about this false declaration, then they should go too. The people to feel sorry for are the other players, but it is important that the rules of eligibility are strictly applied and that penalties are heavy enough to dissuade deliberate breaches.

Blown out of proportion. It's not like they are going to beat the aussies anyway

i am not sure it was intentional and australia have willie mason born himself in new zealand but all said and done they knew the rules
