War is hard core Money & Power! It's the number one excuse to pay off the lobbyist and special interest in a very legal and huge return.
We train young, bright, patrotic kids to go fight for a noble ideal... then months, years later the real truths about why, who and when we go to to war come out. Religion lately has been the tool of choice lately to gain the American peoples confidence. Too many Americans think all Islamic people are the enemy. It's a small fanatical faction. Those people are like you and I. They want the best for their children, their country and they don't want outsiders to tell them how they are suppose to live.

Religion, money, and rights to land. I think that religion is too often used as a cover to disguise a country's greed for money and land (well, whats under the land). America has turned the war on terror into a war against islam.

No, not really. Some are started because of a lust for power, which is really a more accurate term than "religion".
Whenever religion is used as an excuse for war it is more likly just an excuse to spread the powerbase to a wider area. Which strokes the leaders ego as well as increases revenues.

Without wars, economies will become weak.
All those magnificent weapons built during W.W.11 that ended the Great Depression, have been updated and made useful in modern day conflicts, just to keep the economy going.
Anybody who tells you otherwise is a liar.
Now with a new twist on war, new technology is about to unfold to get better results with different tactics.
This adds to the economy, which is why it seems to be so good.
Religious beliefs can be a problem with mankind living in the same world with others of differeing religious beliefs.
That's another excuse to have a war.

Religion wins out in my opinion with money a close second. But the real motive is power which comes with both religion and money.

All wars are about controlling the people, not money or religion - money and religion are just 2 other methods of controlling the masses.

Warfare, terrorism and corruption perpetrated by those who claim to serve God offend some peoples sense of justice. Religion seems to be at the root of so many problems. Power hungry leaders are cynically manipulating people's religious sentiments for their own needs.

They both play their parts in war. Religion can be seen as the cause and money can be seen as the motivation for greedy people.

Mostly it is about thinks said to eachother that are taken out of contex. With a few exceptions wars have been fought over money. WW2 and Korean war being two exceptions.
