Medusa was considered to be very beautiful in her youth. But she angered the Gods and they cursed her with snakes for hair and any man who looked at her would turn to stone.

Pandora was given a box by the Gods to watch over but she was not allowed to open it. Curiosity got the better of her and thus she released pain and evil and the like into the world. The film Tomb Raider 2 goes into detail although they use artistic license with it.

No, that's Medusa. Pandora is the one that opened Pandora's Box. She was given a box by the gods and told not to open it. But she opened the box anyway when her curiosity got the better of her. She let all of the evils of the world out and that's why all the evils exist. If I remember right, she kept only one thing inside the box. Hope. Pandora wasn't evil, she was innocent.

Btw, if you're playing her, shouldn't you be doing your own research? That's why you have the internet. And you'd get much more accurate answers if you googled it than if you ask on some message board.

Pandora is the curious one in Greek mythology who opens a box full of diseases and wrongs...but in doing so releases HOPE as well. Hence the term "Pandora's box." You're thinking of MEDUSA, she's the one with snakes instead of hair and with only one look can turn people into stone statues. Pandora is NOT evil....
Oh, and what grade are you in? By the way your grammar is, you sound like a second grader...

According to Greek mythology Pandora was a woman created by the gods to protect a box. Now, this was not your ordinary gift box, inside it was every evil thing known to man, diseases, hatred, and so on. Now this woman had to be formed somehow and since the gods where all selfish they could not decide who to make her like so they took physical and mental charateristics from all of them. Now Pandora turned out to be a pretty decent lady but she also turned out to be curious thanks to Hermes and at some point she opened the box to see what was in it and out came all the evil. In the box though was also everything good too such as hope and love to even out the scale. As for snake girl she was Medusa.

THAT WOULD BE MEDUSA
This article is about the Greek mythological figure. For other uses, see Pandora (disambiguation).

Making of PandoraIn Greek mythology, Pandora ("all gifted") was the first woman, fashioned by Zeus as part of the punishment of mankind for Prometheus' theft of the secret of fire. The myth of Pandora is very old, appears in several distinct versions, and has been interpreted in many ways. In all literary versions, however, the myth is a kind of theodicy, addressing the question of why there is evil in the world.: Hesiod, both in his Theogony (briefly, without naming Pandora outright, line 570) and in Works and Days, ca. 700 BC, has a very early told and literary version of the Pandora story. [1] In modern times, Pandora's Box has become a metaphor for the unanticipated consequences of technical and scientific development. The evidence of the vase-painters reveals another, earlier aspect of Pandora.

Medusa is the snake haired lady

Pandora fell in love with Hermes who had the box that was never supposed to be opened. But she did and all the bad things of the world came out. On a lighter note, the last thing that left the box and entered the world, was hope.
