From my experience of being in Benidorm in January it will normally be mild, sunny at times and changeable quite quickly.( going from the past, you never know what will happen in the next couple of months, could be a heatwave with global warming)
I would say that warmth depends upon what you are normally accustomed to. I like it in Benidorm in January as it isn't too hot for me and it is a lot colder in Morecambe where i live.
Hope this helps and i may even bump into you.

i live in benidorm. right now pouring down with rain minimum 12 maximum 19 so i predict between 0 degrees at night to 12 degrees in the daytime in January. I have answered this question before. ice forms on puddles, brilliant weather to go walking in the sun along the beach front during the day, in january wear a jumper in the daytime, wear a coat at night. In the town the temperature is warmer than if you live between villages like alfaz or altea. look me up if you need a tour, been living here for 21 years.

Better if you skipped Benidorm and went to school to learn how to spell correctly

Can be changeable - sometime like a warm UK spring day and shirtsleeves or fairly cool and woolly jumper - be prepared for both
