I did believe in santa Claus as a child and I still like to believe in him to keep the spirit of Christmas in me alive.

Yes. Nowadays I think a man must have existed somewhere in the world to inspire the story of St. Nicholas, or Santa Claus, so his spirit still exists.

Yes, I did believe and my parents even sent my sister and I to play in the basement and listen to the reindeer hooves (which was actually them) walking on the floor above me as Santa brought presents. I think it is healthy to believe in Santa, and it came as no shock, just a logical conclusion when I was 8, that he did not exist. It also did not hurt my religious faith.

I think everyone definitely believed in Santa. My brothers kept it a secret for 9 years. I know that i certainly believed in Santa and all his helpers. It was fun to believe.

Yes until I was 7 years old. I went too church and I over heard some parents talking about rather to tell their child that Santa wasn't real...

Sadly I was raised in communist country. We weren't allowed to celebrate Christmas & Santa. We had to believe in Stalin, Lenin & the revolution - patetic. Discusting crime against innocent kids.
Since the day my beautiful daughter was born I make sure that we leave milk & cookie for Santa & carrots for his rendires. She believes in the Tooth Fairy etc., wonderful magic!

yup, i've realized that it was my parents who placed something in our socks.. and i doubt santa claus coz he can't go to many different chimneys at 12:00 of the christmas eve!! besides, he's a saint, he can't have the power of omnipresence(being in a place and another place simultaneously..) just like our lord has.
