soundlike you have soft contacts like myself ,as if it where not soft you could feel the contact better .this is a nite mare its happened to me loads of times ,but dont panic !
If you just leave it ,it will eventually come out around you`re eye and then you will feel it and take it out ,or some times it just drops out of you`re eye with out you realising !
if it is really bothering you put some of you`re saline contact soloution in to you`re eye to put moistour in eye and it could swim out with loads of soloution in eye ,one thing is for sure, you be at you`re eye all day ,try and let it come out nataurally if you can ,try lifting your`re eye lid up and feel around eye sometimes you will feel it ,good luck it will defo come out as it cant stay there ,it just wont !trust me i know !being relaxed will help !

There is a membrane that protects your eye, so having a lens slide over the eyeball isn't possible.

It may have migrated around your eye, or even folded onto itself within your eye. Or your lens may have torn and a fragment could be in your eye, and causing irritation.

Wash your hands, close your eye, and stroke your eyelid a couple of times. You may want to blink, or use some saline solution or eyewash to help move the lens back into place.

If your eye is still irritated, I would see a doctor.

your contact can't get behind your eyeball because of the membrane covering it. Close you eye and stroke the lid from top to bottom a few times. If this doesn't work your local ER can irrigate it out for you - this is just washing the eye out with saline. They can get under your lid better and it should float out - fret not! If your whole eye is dark red you should probably seek some medical attention anyway - perhaps there is no contact and something else is the problem.

Tigger is absolutely right. My husband wears contacts and he often loses them in his eyes.
It would definitely help if you could find someone else to look for you. If you keep massaging your lid down and blinking then it should move to a spot where you will be able to see it.
I hope you get the sucker out!

try blinking

try lifting the top eyelid while you move your eyeballs

try using eye drops and close your eyes, moving your eyeballs around

if it still cannot be taken out, or still doesn't appear, go see a doctor

Hope it helps

this requires medical attention since that could cause serious eye infection...especially now that it is irritating....opthalmologists would scrape that out....
