I haven't been to St Thomas Hospital but am currently under Kings. I've been there to have scans as I have a cyst on the umbilical cord, I'm 6 months this week. I have got two more scans left. All the staff that I have spoken to and consultants that I have had to see have been very helpful, understanding and considerate. I felt like I was treated like a human being and not just a number. If I had a choice I would defiantly choose Kings to deliver but again I haven't had any dealings with St Thomas. Hope this is some help.
Good luck.

thats a difficult one, but both are training hospitals so they will have some of the best doctors nurses there...
the only problem is i expect they have loads of students so i would write in ure birth plan straight away if you do not want loads of people there
i am in brighton so i did not have to make that decision i would suggest going to look around both of them and seeing which one you feel more comfortable with, and also check out which one is easiest to get to and parking etc.....
i am sure which ever one u choice you will be in great safe hands
best of luck to you and the little one, : )
