I had charges for attempted murder dropped once.. it resulted after a brawl started by the other group.. who outnumbered us 2 to 1.. in the end a bottle was swung at the biggest bloke.. who then jumped my mate who was half his size.. so i jumped the big bloke and "allegedly" tried to strangle him to death.. I couldn't remember.. but to be honest I wasn't trying to murder him.. just avoid watching my mate get utterly pounded as he was about to..
that's about as close an insight as to why I reckon a man could murder.. it can happen in a heartbeat sometimes.. and then the media glorifies it likes its a big hoodoo thing.. sometimes its just a moment of stupidity..
that brawl resulted in my mate going to prison.. me getting off for attempt.. a lot of headaches.. a big oaf with permanent scars to his melon and it all started coz someone called my friend a dumb wog!
I was a teen then.. now at my age.. it all seems so ridiculous.. how life could have been very different that night onwards..

Watching every episode of 24 seasons 1-5. I would murder the producer and writer if I had too. Or having to listen to pop music on the radio constantly. That would probably push me over the edge too.

Madness,jealousy,betrayal,love,
poverty,survival,revenge etc.
There are just to many things that could make a man to murder,I even heard one saying that he murdered because he was bored(!!!),where is the world going to?
I think it is the matter of control.

Many things, I would imagine:
1) Lack of respect for human life.
2) Jealousy/Envy
3) Wishing to destroy something he sees in himself by killing someone else who exhibits it.
4) Uncontrollable anger and aggression at life in general.
We all have the potential for murder within us, it is up to our intelligence and moral code to control it.

well, i was staying at my mate's house on Saturday after a rugby club night out. We got back to his house about 3am very drunk and ready to settle down in front of the tv with our take away pizzas. However, his wife (who was in bed) had hidden the tv remote and left a note saying that it was too late to watch telly................mitigating circumstances for murder?

Driving a Bentley with nothing to do, while being retired from the NFL.
Paying your exwife child support and then snooping around to see what she up to.
Sounds familiar?
That's why 93 million Americans stood up late one night (including myself) to see if O.J. was going to go through with it.
