I'd be travelling on a regular basis until I had about 3 homes in different climates. I know two places I'd love right off the bat already. In the state of Washington if I were up for winter.
Tagaytay, Cebu or Visayas during the warm weather to go play in the water, fish for dinner etc.
I think I would keep travelling to visit every country and try to have some positive effect in the world, they say the day you retire is the day you start dying. Maybe make a third home somewhere.

Well, that's a pretty general question, but it would have to be effected by several factors:

1) What kind of year round weather you enjoy.
2) What kind of population density do you get along with best.
3) What level of crime rate are you willing to put up with.
4) What locations you feel most comfortable with.
5) And finally - if you're the complete hermit-type, what island in the middle of nowhere would easily support your most comfortable lifestyle?

On the coast, Maine is nice, but I would prefer sunset on water... maybe the rocky coast of England or Ireland. Yes, that would be it. A nice rocky coast somewhere windy, with lots of sea spray and space.
