it's moral decay. and actually the west isn't anywhere near as bad as the other parts of the globe. in europe the percentage of adultery is so high marriage there is a 30/70 shot of making it longer than 3 years together.
moral and traditional values went out the window after the 60's if you haven't noticed. after everything got to be convienient and easier and more accessible like alcohol, ****, weapons, drugs, etc. things started to change. And spot-lighting a specific race isn't the smartest thing to do when talking about morality. Every race has skeletons in the closet in history at some point or another.

You may have been watching the few wrong programs on TV. Don't judge a society by the few that you have seen. All races no matter what colour or creed have both the good and the bad. I have two Indian friends and i can tell you, they differ entirely in beliefs and principles in life. I have many american friends and they are decent , responsible and moral persons, happily married for 32 yrs in one.
( in some cases, even longer) to their respective spouses. May I suggest that you erased that entirely biased opinion.

Read the history of the Indian culture...many abuses took place and still take place today, so I don't consider that to be moral. Don't judge all westerners by what you read and see on TV or in movies...we are individuals, and make individual decisions about choices in life

well to look it from another view point of maturity, physical relationships should always be seperated from emotional aspects. Love is not sex. love is a feeling, sex is a desire or need of the physical body. not ever one u love u can have sex with you and vice versa. if you seperate these two u will understand the difference and what u need to control, the desire to have variety will always be there, if you want to indulge in it, it is a choice u r making.
In western countries this differentiation is very prominent, which is why not every person u sleep with you have to be in love, this does help in creating confusion of the mind. In india society we have beed drilled to understand that sex is taboo, bad, and can happen only with long term commitment. it is the way u percieve and think about it.
You have to seprate the soul and body.

Tv is a bunch of trash and we don't watch that garbage- it gives negative messages and some people think this is the way things really are- in one soap opera in one hour you can see every son in the world in one hour- no thank you- give me morals and traditional values and I don't care if I am politically incorrect- I do what I can to go against that grain- D

It is only a matter of degree as all societies are afflicted with this disease in the post modernization climate of consumerism. When a society is driven by materialistic tendencies, the refined human behavior soon tends to go downhill leading to several anomalies in human behavior towards grossness.

Premarital sex/infidelity/adultery were a men's prerogative and His choice. It was always behind hidden doors and women were subjugated by baised remarks of good and bad.Morals and values were supposed to be looked after and taken care by women alone.Women have shed this notion and have challanged men in this area. The fuss is all that solely women are not accused of being immoral. It goes now hand in hand with man.Society(Men) has moved from this hypocrisy.People openly admit what they choose. Here people means men and women now.Modern culture has nothing to do with degrading of human values. It only highlights what is openly happening.

Nothing will happen to it. Our society is a society of hippo cart. What we do is not what we are telling. Pre-marital sex and adulteration is from the ancient time only. You can find stories about it in almost very books of ancient time.
