Two games without Kobe, 2-0, and Odom has been a beast. Are they for real, and will they be even better when Kobe comes back?

It's too early to tell!!! We'll have to see when Kobe gets back if Odom can continue producing like he has in these past 2 games. The Lakers will reach the playoffs though, i'll guarantee that much!!!!

Thisis the Lamar Odom I have been telling everyone about. People say I am harsh becauseI said all last year that L.O needs to step up in order for L.A to do something. Now not only is Odom doing it but Bynum is doing good too. I can't wait until Kobe gets back thought and I hope Odom plays the same way when Kobe gets back on the court and if so L.A will be a top 5 team in the Wild Wild West.

Hell yeah theyre for real Kobe just needs to get his mind off scoring for a season and see how that works out and focus on assists. i think he should average 29 pts and 8 or 9 assists and Odom playing the same he is playing right now

They have been great without him. I agree with the guy above me. When Kobe plays, there won't be as much passing. He'll keep it himself. In L.A. it's the Kobe show. I think if they are going to have a shot at going deep in the playoffs, Kobe is going to have to get everyone involved.

The Lakers will make the playoffs; but in the west if you don't have a better than average center you will not go far.

The Lakers should have kept Shaq and they would have one at least one more title. It is easier to find flashy, slashing guards then it is to find a center who can dominate.
