I want to say that people's faces can be easily changed, because u know, like a knife can cut it, scars, burns, car accidents, etc. but i need to convey my points with a formal sentence, so help!!!!! thank u sooo much

A person's face, while recognisable, is also subject to the ravages of time, not to mention disfiguring marks and scars left by bruns, accidents and the like.

Without knowing more about the topic it is hard, but you could say something to the effect of: While an individual's general appearance and character are fairly rigid, finer points such as the face or habits can not only be changed through surgery and practice but through environmental adaptation.
Like I said, without knowing more it's ahrd, but maybe this will get you started.
