Yes there is a railway connection between Hisar and Jalandhar. The # 1ALH - Hisar Amritsar Passenger connects the two cities. It runs on all days of the week. It departs from Hisar at 22.30hrs (IST) and reaches Jalandhar city at 07.30 hrs (IST) the following day. It follows the following route...from Hisar, Sunam, Sangrur, Malerkotla, Ludhiana Jn., Phillaur Jn, Phagwara Jn, Jalandhar Cantt., to Jalandhar City.

There is also a through train...the 9771 Jaipur Amritsar Express which runs on Tuesday(ex-Jaipur) and Saturday(ex-Jaipur) that passes through Hisar and also stops at Jalandhar city. This train departs from Hisar at 02.30 hrs. (IST) (early morning Wednesday/Sunday) and reaches Jalandhar City at 12.30 hrs (IST) (Wednesday/Sunday). This train takes a different route and is as follows: Hisar, Sirsa, Bhatinda Jn, Kot Kapura, Faridkot, Firozpur Cantt., Ludhiana Jn, Phagwara Jn, Jalandhar City.

do u live in Jalandhar or do u live in Hisar.
I am not sure , check the INDIAN RAILWAYS TIMETABLE
or ring up the ENQUIRY for Railway Station.
Check for PUNJAB MAIL which comes from Mumbai and is upto Amritsar, Punjab

THERE IS NO DIRECT ROUTE IS FROM HISSAR TO JALADHAR EITHER YOU COME TO DELHI OR ONE TRAIN IS FROM ROHTAK.
BETTER YOU GO BY BUS.
