Because we take life as it is. We don't expect to get rich, but not everyone does. Whenever there's a typhoon or storm, we would laugh about it and deal with it. There's just no running to it.
I used to live in the Philippines, and the storms are very strong there, and kids and adults go outside all the time, bathing in the rain. Really fun!

Because they can't do much to prevent such calamities from happening that's why they try to remain happy and optimistic and make the best of adverse situations.

Because life must go on and if you always think about the tradgedies in life you will never be happy. Live for the moment and make it a happy one. Life is too short to worry about the negatives.

There are happy people in every country, people learn to acclimate to there surrounds...there are happy people in the poorest areas in America.
