Naproxen is the same medicine as Advil, except you don't have to take as many pills so often. It's good for inflammatory pain, but bad for you if you have a stomach ulcer.

Naproxen is pretty powerful stuff. I take a generic form of Aleve every night but I have to be careful to watch for any stomach trouble because it can cause irritation.

I have also taken prescription Naproxen as a muscle relaxant. again, very powerful and that did make me sick to my stomach.

Good for you? If you're in a lot of pain and it's a prescription, then just try to be aware of any new symptoms.

If you're taking an over-the-counter Naproxen (naproxen sodium), and you notice any new symptoms, stop taking it.

I hope you're feeling better soon!

Has the same action as ibuprofen, maybe you heard about this one. has a antipyretic(lowers fever), analgesic(pain medicine), anti-inflammatory(if you have something like a swollen wrist, or something).
As a side effect maybe GI distress and ulcers are the most common, but not the only.
If you want to take more than a couple, then you should ask your doctor.

There are side effects; mostly gastrointestinal problems. However, it is still is one of the safer things you can take if you need frequent pain relief or anti-inflammatory.

It is good for taking care of the pain, but I have heard that taking to much can be harmful on your stomach.
