I heard it on a Tata Young song and i wanted to know what it was.

in spanish it means the kid
it was some kind of weather disfunction in the 90's
and its also the name of a band.

If you translate it to spanish it means the boy or the kid... but it is also the common name of a meteorological phenomenon... they are "major temperature fluctuations in surface waters of the tropical Eastern Pacific Ocean." Check out the Wiki article if you are interested.
