Dhoni was supreme against Pakistan & now we can see only a shadow of it in the recent matches.
The main factor of his inconsistency is nothing but the inconsistent approach from the management.
He has not been promoted in the batting order eventhough there is a continous failure at the top order.
If he gets time to steady at the creeze at earlier overs, at least before 30 overs, Dhoni is the one of the best choice in this situation & he will definitely score also...
A slight overconfidence & laziness also affected this man alongwith almost all the new players India is having now...
So days ahead are of Dhoni's also...
Be ready to watch firework anytime...
all the best...

ya.dhoni is playing very well.In international cricket,u should have the commensense .I think dhoni is doing a fantastic job out there. It s difficult for any batsman to come in for slog overs and to smash fours, and sixes.I believe no other batsmen ,except mike hussey ,is better than dhoni in utilising the slog overs. And the thing i like about him is,his ability to adapt for the conditions. That really shows the maturity of this lad.Go! dhoni GO!

No one is perfect....if today Dhoni hits a century tomorrow he might be out for a duck....remember a bowler can make many mistakes but a batsman cannot do that...one mistake and he is out...remember we are humans....we are not perfect at all...we are full of mistakes.....lets just wish that Dhoni contributes his best to the country...all the best Dhoni

Yes. Presently he is playing according to the need of the time. Earlier he used to start attacking from the word go. However, he is now showing some maturity and try to settle down first before start attacking, which I feel is good not only for the team but also to himself.

No because there is no consistency in his batting.

He is turning out to be another great Indian batsman
[ Indian batsman - will get a 50 or 100 in 1 match and will get out cheaply in the rest of the following innings of the series ]
rather than being a World Class batsman.

Yes, he is definitely playing well now a days. He is getting very little opportunity to bat and is playing according to the situation which is always very grim. He has always been told to save wicket and not to fancy his exciting shots. We, fans are satisfied with his performance.

right now he is mediocre but the reason lies in his constant shuffling up and down the order. he has no defined role . also a batsman of his calibre should be allowed to play the maximum number of overs. he always comes in when the situation is to hit out and increase the run rate, which courtesy of our "solid"? top order batsmen is always looking down. can't expect him to perform at his best always under pressure, when others throw away their wickets after consuming lots of overs.

yes because he is able to get adjusted to the tuff conditions where India where Indian top order struggles to make runs.i think he is the only batsmen in the Indian team has the capability to play aggressively as well as to play like the wall

yes, but his game is not being allowed and he is being told to stay there and save wicket . And hit at the slog overs but he is actually a destructor of bowling so he is not playing his game.
