Do clear out your cookies and temp files periodically? I find that if I don't do this every few days/weeks, then it takes forever to get things to load up. Here's why:
Each time you access a website, your system "remembers" it. Try to visualize a tick mark for each different site you access. Let's say you visit five sites:
amazon
Yahoo
Disney
McDonald's
Desperate Housewives
Now you're ready to go to Walgreens.com, so the computer looks through all the sites you've already visited to see if it can find a match. The bigger the list (Cache) the longer it takes to find out whether this is a site you have on file.
By cleaning them out, you reduce that search time.
---------------
How to clean them out:
Click START
Click Control Panel
Double Click Internet Options
Look in the middle of the window .. it should say Temporary Internet Files.
There are two buttons: Delete Cookies and Delete Temporary Files. Click on Delete Temporary Files. This just dumps out the site addresses.
Now try accessing the site you want to visit. It should be faster.
If you don't care about your cookies (and if anyone else uses the computer, their cookies as well), delete those too. But if you or (another user) have personal settings on a site that you frequently visit, you'll need to go back and set those up again.
Hope this helps... good luck!

You might be running out of memory or have to much bogging it down. First clean out your cache, cookies, registry and alot of unneeded garbage collects in it. Next you should defrag and run a scan program like Norton winDoctor, depending on the applications you have. Also run a virus and spyware program, plenty of great free ones available online.
If you need programs try cnet, great for downloads and helpful information.

Computers slow down. Registery errors, things like that just wear it down over time.
You can restore your computer to its original factory condition by booting from your restore disk. MAKE SURE YOU BACK UP YOUR FILES THOUGH!!! All your documents and everything else that didn't come installed with the computer will be erased.
However, the computer will be as fast as it was when you got it.

This query is requested hundreds of thousands of instances all over the place. The excellent technique to "repair" this might be to reformat your tough force and set up a contemporary replica of your working method. You have got to additionally consider to keep your pc. This method defragmenting, and cleansing out ancient documents / methods you do not use anymore. I might suggest Diskeeper. You can set it as much as defragment your tough force on a scheduled groundwork with out it bothering you. Another predicament is having too many procedures walking within the heritage.
