...different dads?

This IS NOT about me, I'm married and all. Just curious if anyone knows for sure if that is possible, cuz that would be weird.

impossible because once a woman gets pregnant then the baby is closed off so nothing else can get up there. so the sperm will have to be from the same person

as one person stated there was a couple that had twins one white and one black, they had the same father but something was either wrong with the baby or there was a black heritage somewhere in their family

Possible, yes. Likely, no The reasons are this, the liklihood of ovulating two eggs at the same time is extremely remote unless the woman is on fertility drugs which can promote multiple eggs at the same time, but also on rare occasions, just not so rare as a woman having two eggs without the drugs. Second, the sperm loading comes into the womb at two different times. The longer the time between, the more likely the first donor is in the lead, most likely exposing the two eggs to the first donor rather than the second. If the sperm loads were deposited at a very close time interval, then it means both would be at about the same time, the point of viability and the race to the respective marks is closer to being in tandem. So, yes, possible, but certain variables make it very unlikely to happen in the first place...

Advise you friend on birth control (it is STUPID to fool around without it!) and then suggest she call off the affair and/or stop with the group sex orgies.

Yes. If two eggs are present, they can be be fertilized by any sperm that is present in the fallopian tubes.

I would like to add...Many people do not seem to know very much about the reproductive process. Many women release multiple eggs without the use of fertility drugs. As women get older they may release more than one egg at a time...and are more prone to doing so as opposed to younger women. Also, sperm can live inside of the fallopian tubes for days...which would make some sperm present at the time of ovulation. This sperm could be a mixture of 2(or more) different men's sperm...which could result in 2 babies with 2 different fathers. No matter what, if 2 eggs are present and 2 sets of sperm are present(fresh sperm or sperm that is already living in the fallopian tubes), the eggs can be fertilized with either sperm. Fertilization is like survival of the fittest...the one most determine sperm will be the one to enter theegg(which could just so happen to be one from each man)(By the way, only one sperm can enter/fertilize a single egg).

Yes it is possible but it’s very unlikely to happen. For one a woman would have to release two eggs which doesn’t happen often and would have to be with two different men in short time span probably talking with in hours to a few days.

Yes! I know a set of twin boys who have different daddies. The mother thought they were crazy when they did DNA test the guy asked for on each baby seperately. Turned out they had good reason to!

Yes, indeed this is possible if sex with both potiential dads was close together in the same ovulation cycle with two seperate ovum during the conception. It's rare, but possible.

It's extremely rare but has indeed happened, there is even a case in the UK of a bi-racial couple having twins where one was white and the other was black.

I didn't know that a woman can release more than one. But I think it is possible but I am not a doctor so i don't know.

Re: the black and white twins in the UK

They were from the same mother and father. Both parents were bi-racial. One twin got mostly "white" genes and the other twin got mostly "black" genes so one was "white" and one was "black". They are *not* from two different fathers.

i really think this would be extreamly difficult to happen. when the girls egg are ready to ovulat that's when the sperm can get inside the egg, and if the girl had sex with one guy, is more likely that the first guy's sperm will get to the eggs firs .
