You should soak your hand in cold water because your hand and fingers get a little smaller when they are cold and when they are hot they get a little bigger. After soaking your hand in cold water, then try the soap trick. It should work. If not, you should go to a jewler and have them cut the ring off.

Try this I saw it once a long time ago take some thin but strong string. wrap it around your finger in front of the ring as tightly as you can (in a way that it makes a coil with each strand closely together but not overlapping) for about a half an inch or so where you are having the most trouble moving the ring over . Then slide the ring up on the string until you can grab the end on the other side of the ring. Now slowly unwrap the string it should slowly push the ring off of your finger.

I've heard of a trick for stubborn rings involving slipping the ring back to the middle of the finger then wrapping thread around near the end of the the finger and slipping the ring over the threaded area and unwinding the thread to slowly push the ring off.

Hello.
Try soaking your hand in ice water if it is swollen. Wait for the sweeling to go down. Use olive oil or dish washing liquid the entire length of your finger. Then twist the ring while you ease it over your knuckle. If that doesn't work, you might have to cut it or go to a doctor..... I would say the cold will reduce the swelling enough to slide it off..
Good luck..

yes, push the ring to a point on your finger where it's not tight. hold your hand up in the air for fitfteen minutes -- above your heart level at least, but preferrably above your head. then wrap thick string *yarn is fine, nothing that will cut you, though* somewhat tightly around your finger, starting at the tip, and wrapping in a spiral fashion, gradually down toward your knuckle. wrap it tight as you can stand it, this will squease your finger to a smaller shape, and hopefully it will be enough. probelm with cold water is that involves your finger being below heart level, so there's nothing to really make the volume of fluids in your finger to drain down a bit.

If your finger is swollen soak it in some cold water so the swelling will go down. You could try some baby oil of vaseline. If that don't work you have to have it cut off. The ring i mean!

Windex works great. I used to work at Harry Ritchies and that is what we used to use when people got rings stuck on thier fingers

Ice. Sprinkle salt on the ice. The cold will make your skin retract and the salt will melt the ice and make the ring fall off.

Try putting your finger in your mouth and pulling it off with your teeth like in My Best Friend's Wedding.
