Does Ken Lay's family have to pay out to the Enron victims?

Will money be taken from his trust or life savings to pay any of the poor victims? Or does his family get to keep it all to themselves?

Lay's money is protected in lawsuit proof investments according to an article in Mother Jones.

Nope, a judge waved the punishment just the other day.

I wonder that hopefully, a lawyer will come on and explain it can occur. I would not know, but I figure its better left up to lawyers.
