1.Let X be a random variable with a normal distribution with mean 4 and standard deviation 2 and let Z be a random variable with the standard normal distribution.
a) Find Pr(X>4)

Yes that is the real question.
Part b then asks you to find Pr9X>5) = Pr(Z

Is that really the question? Prob of a normal variable being greater than the mean? It's just 0.5. What's the real question, and what has Z to do with it?

Agree with Hy. P(x>4)=0.5, as long as the distribution is normal and not skewed. If the next question is P(x>z), now that's more interesting.
