I know there's something I can do to make it so it shows my real connection speed. Does anyone know what I need to do to get it to show the real speed? Thanks for your help!

it's because your modem. probably you got an intel 536EP or similar modem... dont worry about it. maybe you should download download upload meter (DU meter) to see your transfer rate and connection time ( http://dl.hageltech.com/DUMeter-Install.exe )

which internet connection u r using?115kbps is not a exact bandwidth,its always lower than 115,but its changing because of the internet speed,use www.bandwidthplace.com and check connection speed.
