What is your GPA and why is it at that?

If its high then is it cause of hard work or easy classes? Spill your complete thoughts here on your GPA along with how long you've been in college, university, community college, wherever.

If its low then why?

Are you content? Are you one that doesnt care much if it goes down from a 3.7 to a 3.6? Or do you stress weekly hoping it remains at a 4.0? Or are you wishing that you will get your GPA to that 2.1? :-p

More info the better. Thanks!

I finished college with a 3.85 GPA and, I will have to admit, I obsessed over grades. I felt almost like a failure when I received a grade of B.

My GPA was achieved mostly through hard work but I did not have a difficult major and minors - English major; history and education minors.

I took my master's degree at a university that did not assign traditional grades for graduate courses. Grades included high honors, which was an A+ level; pass, an A or B level; and fail; C or below. I received honors grades for all but three of my courses but I took the easiest of majors - education with an emphasis in testing and counseling.

I considered my graduate work to be much less demanding than my undergraduate work, which included general education courses in several areas for which I had little aptitude.

I'm in the tenth grade and this past term I earned a 3.5. I was going for a 3.6 for the first three terms so I could get an academic award, but I'm olay. In Chemistry, I worked my butt off to get that B. In Japanese 2, I could have put forth a little more effort to get at least an A-, but I got a B. If I would have studied more on the tests, I think my test scores would have been way better. My two other classes were easy: Basketball P.E. and Computer Tech. This term I have general business and 3 honors classes; English, Algebra 2, and World History. If I put all the effort I can into my work, I can pull off at least a 3.5 GPA.

I currently have a 3.949. I'm a college junior and a Spanish major. I got my GPA through hard work. Even though I'm a Spanish major, I'm not a native speaker, so I'm majoring in a skill I'm not proficient in . That requires intense work on my part as I am learning a new language. This means vocabulary, grammar, culture, etc. However, I do have a social life. I did marching band for the first years of college, I've had 4 jobs (some simultaneously). I like to go to Denny's with my friends. Sometimes we go to Wal-mart and set off the tickle-me-elmos or play hide and seek or whatever strikes our fancy that night. We like together and have basketball watching parties. You can have fun and still ahve a good GPA. It's all about striking a balance. Sometimes you have to tell your friends I can't go to the midnight breakfast buffet tonight, I have to study. Other times you can say, this paper can wait until tomorrow, I'm going to the hot wing eating contest (No, I didn't win. But I got a free meal!)

Just graduated from grad school with a 4.00 GPA in Aeronautics.

It takes a lot of time, effort, and attention to detail. But it can be done.
