The first time it was not posted.
So technically you have only seen it once.

First of all they email you through yahoo!answers and don't have your personal email info. Secondly, if you dont like what they say you don't answer.
Thats just my opinion though as you are all entitled to your own.
Thank you for sharing.

I don't know why people don't offer contact information. I for one am very glad I did. I haven't been on here long but I did find someone I very much like talking to. If you don't you should, there's good people out there to meet. Trust me.

Privacy......answering questions on a daily basis on here, you notice many weirdos on here. If I have my contact information available, that gives them access to send me mail and send me IM, and I don't want that. There have been many on here that have been stalked, and I've been stalked before and it's annoying and creepy. PLUS, I don't want know spam getting into my box. People who get your email, can have the opportunity to misuse it and sell it or do anything with it. Send viruses and so forth. I don't think so...been there, done that. Also, there isn't anything important that you or anyone else needs to notify me about. YAHOO knows my information and that's it. Along with my family also and some friends.

No one has to give their actual email address. They can choose to allow contact through Yahoo Answers email. I personally think that those who think they will get spam that way are ignorant. Or, they could just be afraid of having someone directly challenge their answers.
