I'm guessing here, but you told them you were mad and hitting stuff...well I have learned, they hate to hear that! And will seem to not care or show sympathy. You said you are in Kuwait now, give the new doctors a try, they may help you where other's have not, just don't give out every detail of how the fracture happened. Good Luck. And keep your chin up, you'll make friends. :)

I did the same thing a few years ago, and the doctor had to break it and put a plate and screws in it so it'd fuse straight. Having someone else break it will just hurt, and wont help unless you have them cut open your hand and put a titanium plate in it too. If you can get cortizone inject that and it'll help with the pain, if not take some pain killers and wait until you get home and have the surgery.

I've never seen a doc to much for a boxer's fracture. If it's not hurting you then I'd just leave it alone. Rebreaking it would not be smart; you might do more damage.

You should go to the doctor and find out if it's broken.

Sounds like it healed 'wrong'. Hand bones are too fragile to deliberately break and expect to get it right. You may need a surgeon to go in and grind the excess bone down now. Best advice I can give is FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR. Good luck.

I would say to keep the wound protected until you can see a private orthopedic surgeon...if you can get your hands on a couple of socks, some plaster of paris and some gauze you or your buddy can fashion a make-shift cast to protect it...you need to immobilize it...and getting some anti-inflamatories in you would be good...you need an orthopedic...no question about it...but w/ a little luck...like about 4-5 weeks in a cast you might be ok despite it all...good luck..

Listen to the doctors. If the doctor thought it should have been re-broken he would have done so. Don't be a dumbass and cause further damage to your hand, do what they advised you to do. If you think that the doctor was wrong get a second opinion.

I wouldn't bother. I break my fingers all the time (don't ride bmx), they're all lumpy and bumpy. It doesn't even hurt that much unless it's on a knuckle or you really smash the bone up.
Just leave it, who cares what your fingers look like, and I'm sure girls love bumpy fingers.

bones start to attach after just a few days. if you try to re break it yourself your risk tearing or damaging something around that area, like nerves and tendons.
