between the Diamondbacks and Yankees........was this the straw that broke the camel's back for the Yankees? Seems like they never fully recovered from that Game 7, 9th inning fiasco. What do you think?

No, I don't think so; I think that honor belongs to the 2004 ALCS. The Yankees are a good team, no question, but when your team is the first in Major League Baseball history to lose a series when ahead 3-0, that has to be a low point in any team's existence.

Signing A-Rod was the biggest mistake ever. The guy is a loser, I mean don't get me wrong he is a great ball player, but lets look at his track history. He was in Seattle and they never won anything, then Seattle traded him the the Rangers, the year after they traded him they set a record for most wins in a season. Ranger after acquiring A-Rod finished at the bottom of their division every year he was there, the year after he was sent to the Yankees they started winning again. I think he is like the old Atlanta Braves player, Dale Murphy. He played with Atlanta for years and years and they finished last every year i know I am a huge Braves fan. When they traded Murphy to the Phillies everyone thought it was the end of the world, the next year they started their long streak of division titles.
I just think that A-Rod is a natural born loser, a great baseball player but still a loser.

I definitely think it was a shot to the gut, but the Yankees have had good years since and they'll be back.
The 2001 World Series was one of the best ever, too. I think anyone who wasn't a Yankees fan was happy for the D-backs.

i think that started a downward trend with the yankees and everything they've done personnel wise certainly hasn't helped i was glad when they lost that year just like i'm glad when they lose every year to me they are too stupid to understand how the game of baseball works nowadays they are so busy trading young prospects who have some potential and signing these big name guys from other teams it's no wonder why they don't win anymore but good because it gives other teams an opportunity to win

hmmm i actually dont think it was. certainly not a morale booster, but i dont think there was one single straw. Aquiring A-Rod hurt them in the long run because paying him off is gonna be hard and frankly no one likes him. If he goes into a slump ppl want to fire him. I think that age has really hurt the yankees. they once had a lot of vetern good players. problem now is they have a lot of guys who cant start anymore and so they have hles here and there.

The Bulls would win in 5. If a beaten down, shorthanded 2013 Bulls crew, might want to get a recreation on them, then the Jordan crew would dominate. the in basic terms reason the nice and comfortable temperature would win a recreation is because Lebron would have a monster recreation with like 50 factors.
