Am I true to myself? Life has times when you change directions, glance, and gaze with new perspective, and in those times you need to revalue who you are, and question whether these directions fit into the responsibility's you take ownership of.

I asked this question to myself last year: Am I really ready to come out and tell my family and friends that i'm gay. I answered Yes, it has changed my life a great deal, i've lost friends and family members, but i continue to grow as a person and i wouldn't change anything i've gone through or continue to go through today.
I came out at the age of 50, and even though some of my family and friends suspected that i am a Tomboi {yes i'm a female}, it still shocked and surprised them that i finally admitted it to myself and to them. I first came out as Bisexual, but i soon realized that i am a Lesbian.
