My husband did an apprenticeship {machinist} when he turned 40..it was something he always wanted to do..our kids were raised, so I told him to go for it..he was the oldest in his class and made next to the highest grades..Our son did one @ 30.{plumbing} .now is a perfect time for you to do it.
