=good, bad or indifferent, they are the biological parents, married or not. Chances are there are a lot of questions, but too few answers. It is the people/person who raised you, fed you, kept a roof over your head and was there for you always loving you that is most important.

Everyone is selfish. Parents are parents and they care for their own children be they out-of-wedlock or not. The sins of the parents should not be visited upon the children. The parents will have to answer to God, not the children. The children should learn from the mistakes of their parents and avoid doing what their parents have done.

Out of wedlock? A child is a child regardless of whether their parents had a piece of legal paper signed before the birth. Many "bastards" have flourished in their environments, and many "legitimates" have suffered the consequenses of being raised in unstable environments.
If I had been born "out of wed lock", I'd still be the same person. I think what you really should have asked is "Are you a product of your environment?"
