Definitely. We take care of each other, and basically my family keeps me out of trouble. >_>

Yes, I do, and I am so thankful! Whether I talk to my dad, grandma... on the phone once a week or 5 times in one day we say "I love you" before we hang up. And we always hug when we visit, when we get there and before we leave.
I know I am blessed. There are so many people out there who do not have a close relationship with their family.

I come from a loving family but not close we are 4 children I see only my two brothers and my parents my sister haven't seen her for 2 years and she stays close to me, when my son was born she didn't even phone to ask if he is okay still didn't even phone to ask how is he doing nothing
We noticed she phones my parents only when she needs money or when it is her B-day or Christmas she doesn't even join us at family night when we have one.
She is also getting married we never met her fiance!
What do you think?

My grandparents raised me from the time I was an infant and I was the most loved, spoiled child on the face of the planet. Our entire family is close, excepting a couple of cousins. My cousin's husband calls us the Waltons (the old tv series) because we hug and kiss so much, lol. What a great reminder! Thanks.

yeh ours is a joint loving and caring family
i have lots of uncles and aunts
but over the years things have changed people have changed
money changes everything
although from outside we are most loving and close family you will ever find
but secrets run through breaking the strong bonds of family

It was once close I wouldn't say it was all that lovely...considering if you are not a drinker or smoker then you wouldn't have much in common with my family...but since I don't drink or smoke every day like them then i'm not as close with them anymore...you live, learn then grow apart...

I had two families; the first was the most loving and the second had my father and my step-mother with the usual story (good w/the bad). We put the FUN in dysFUNctional!

i would have to say yes even though we are probably as dysfunctional as you can get. we always tell each other we love each other and give each other a hug even though we might see them later or the next day. i guess we've become closer since my grandparents passed away. i do wish that those who were close at one time could get closer again though:)
