Why do so many believe that your marriage wont last if you maintain your chastity untill your properly married??When the Bible clearly states that premarital sex is wrong.Why do they so ignorantly beleive that marriages will not last solely because of this?Yes...I am a religious person & I have grown up around litterally hundreds of marriages that were proper,they were virgins untill they were married...and they are still married today.

My personal opinion is, it does not matter whether you were virgins or not when you married . If you are open and honest with each other that is what matters. Virgins or not virgins will divorce if they are not right for each other. I am not a religious person but l know the difference between right and wrong and l don't believe you have to be religious to understand that. I don't believe The Bible or religion has anything to do with keeping families together. It has more to do with loving each , loyalty and faithfulness. That is my opinion anyway.

The bible is a book some dude wrote a long time ago. And people have worshipped it for ages. Can you imagine if people started worshipping Clear and Present Danger? It's so silly when you think about it.
Religion is a suggestion. Not a rule book for a way of life.
I just hope you don't wake up one day at 48 and think about what you may have missed.

amen, brother! i wonder the same thing sometimes. i also wonder why girls many girls are so obsessed with hunting and chasing guys around, thinking that an upstanding, christian man will want to have a desperate girl that doesn't see enough value in herself to be comfortable being single for a while. 100% of successful marriages that i have seen work happened when neither person was looking for it. all parties seemed to have given up on chasing the other gender around at one point, and not too long after that, the right person either stepped into their lives, or they realized the right person was there all along. i just wish i could convince the girls in my youth group of that truth! :)

Because thinking themselves wise they became fools. They are deceived! If it's worth having, its worth waiting for. But we live in a "have it right now" self gratifying culture. It seems our culture has turned into a liberal cesspool of everyone having sex like animals.

some lasts, some dont.. depends on fate.. doesnt depend on when u have sex.....come on.. its wrong for another reason like contacting std and not knowing how to tell ur doc.. its wrong if the woman got pregnant and have to pay for the sins they did..
tell u what... good person, bad person.. God blesses them all, until the day God decided to punish them for the wrong they have done.

getting maried a virgin is good. it means that you saved yourself only for the person who will be with you in front of the altar and pledge your love and loyalty in front of God. i strongly disagree with premarital sex. being virgin means you have the right to wear the white wedding dress. because it means purity.

I think people believe that because it is the easy way out. They don't want to feel convicted so they just tell themselves that there is nothing wrong with it.

They believe it because our "Government" has allowed God to be removed from schools and other such public buildings. Stay true to yourself and hang what others think, I personally applaud you!
