my computer window xp professional cant detect my usb port or my usb drive. I know its not installed anymore, can you tell me how to install it back? is it from a cd of my window xp installation or the mother board cd? i also wana know a website that can help me install it back, if there's one pls give me the website too.

Ok, maybe you can try to go into your BIOS system to check whether your motherboard's USB port is it ENABLED!
If not, try to ENABLED it, because sometimes it will be like this!

first of all cheek the usb port drivers are installed or not. if not install it and plug the usb device. or insert the usb device drives cd once.

u have to install the drivers from the operating system CD.
