You should have physical checkup at least once a year to ensure everything is alright.

Most insurance companies will pay for an annual physical and that is the current recommended standard. It is better to do preventive care than to have to take care of a problem once it has progressed to a major problem. That is the purpose of an annual check-up, to catch problems before they become major health problems.

All sexually active females should get a pap smear annually and ALL men should have their prosate and testicles checked annually. Cancer knows no age boundries.

At least once a year. Women probably need to go more often, like every six months for mammograms and pap smears, etc.

edit - whoops I can't read.

I avoid going to the doctors if I can help it. But years ago ppl went once a year. Otherwise known as their annual checkup.

Only when forced to do this by some outside power or authority who can demand this of them.

If it ain't broke - then don't fix it. I avoid doctors as much as I can
