ive been there done that...I mostly just had a hard time getting up for work on time...I worked from 830 to 5 and went to school from 6 to 11...But my priority was school so i did really well in it...And yes it sucked big time especially cause we only got 1 week off in the winter and one in the summer but if you are determined you will get through it...Just let you job know ahead of time about your situation and tell them that your schooling is very important to you..They should give you some slack...Till then all i can tell you is try it out...If you dont like it find something different...

It is hell. You are younger than I was so you will have more energy. Your undergrad courses will be the easiest so if you are going to try it at any time do it now, not later. When you are in medical school you will not have time to work. (My masters degree was in the Psychology field and not as demanding as medicine.)
The down side is working full time at a demanding job and going to school full time will give you very little time for a social life. And you will want to study very hard because you will have to have good grades to get into medical school The idea full time job is as a night watchman in a bank, I knew someone that did that and he spent all the time studying. Course he had to sleep in the late afternoon, early evening.
Good luck.

If you are that determined and dedicated! Study on your breaks and when you are home! Drink lots of coffee!
I was doing it going for my nursing and working full time in the hospital in the supply room.
I am out of school right now but, I am going to change my Major to Radiology instead of Nursing and return. I still work at the hospital, I am 27.
You can do it!!!

Sorry but it is going to be hard unless you have the personality to make it. If you could work on your working schedule wth your boss at work and come to some agreement which could help your school time, that would work better. Part time/felixible work now is better to give you a chance to qualify for a better full time job later.Good luck.

I'm going through nursing school and I found that when I attempted to have a full-time job and full-time school, I ended up doing crappy work in both places... which never makes you feel good. Try doing one part-time and one full-time. Good luck!

I have gone through something similar. also the medical field. It is tough though. forget about your social life. it would take some serious dedication but it is possible. but don't wear yourself out. so if it takes one semester longer no big deal. at least you will eventually be doing what you love

I think it's gonna be very hard to do well in both if you go fulltime in both. Try to choose 1 as a priority over the other, then you try to excel on that. Only a suggestion....
