My goodness girl, you are not ugly! If at all possible go to a retail store so that you can try it. It's hard to say what color is your shade. I know a few women who use this product and their makeup looks awesome. If I remember correctly, their shades look lighter than something a person would normally buy. But when it is one the face, it will look just fine. Also, have you tried to contact them? Maybe you could send them your picture and they can help you choose.

You are not ugly! I would say purchasing right in a store (instead of online or something like that ... if that's what you're going to do) would be a good idea. You could ask for assistance and they'll test out the colors on you and recommend what kit you should get. Also, in case you may be a little hesitant to go ask for help ... since it seems you think low of yourself ... just think, you'll never see the person again! I purchased my kit when I had terrible acne. I'm fair and had red spots all over my face (hence, the foundations to cover it up). I was very, very self-conscious. I went in the store (no make-up of anything to hide my bad skin), a lady helped me, I bought the kit, walked out and it was done.

You are not ugly - you look very nice. Colors will vary depending on the settings on each computer - you will probably have to go to a store that sells bareMinerals to get a good match. You are too hard on yourself! Tell people you are beautiful and believe it yourself.

Hi there, first of all, I agree with everyone above me that You are NOT ugly (so, believe it), and you are definitely not a fat loser, as your screen name suggests:)
As for the mineral, I would suggest going either one or two shades lighter. Especially now that it's going to be winter, you don't want to use a shade too dark.
Although, my best suggestion would be, to go to your nearest Body Shop, Bare Essentuel store, Sophora, or any dept. store and have them try it on you. If you are going to spend that kind of money, than you better make it absolutely, flawlessly, your second skin. :o)
Btw, I love the minerals, it really made a difference on my skin. Hope you would too.

For starters you are not ugly. Also yes you need to go medium because of your hair color and eyes. When you get make-up at Walgreens if it is the wrong color you can return it within 30 days with a receipt. You can also go to Vital Radiance.com and answer a few questions they will assess in and tell you warm or cool colors and what colors compliment your skin.

you are very pretty! don't say that! and bareminerals REALLY works, so be excited! i would go with the introductory package, the lightest one. the best way is to go to the nearest Sephora for a free make-over and advice

You look lovely, maybe slightly oily skin? Not for sure, but try going to www.marykay.com and do a virtual makeover or search for a beauty consultant near you. She will be able to help you and it is free of charge. the virtual make over is fun, and you can even ask questions and find out what you have and need to stay as lovely as you are. They are trained to help us stay young looking and find the best products for our skin.

your not ulgy firstly. but to answer your question i'd say you were an ivory, or maybe a touch darker than that. go for 'cool' coloured foundations rather than warmer ones as it will give you a funny look.
see if you can sample the colours of the kit aganist your skin before you buy it

go to a mall where they can give you advice for a good make up tone BUT as i sad before test it first rembember
you not supposed to see make up its just there to make the skin tone look even and brighter.
