Bret the Hit Man Heart

Because he represented a genere.
He fought along the greats like Hulk Hogan Rick Flair Undertaker and old veterans

He was also instrumental in bringing up a new wrestling style among the new comers and have influenced many like Schawn Michels, Stone Cold, Diesls and all the present young lot.

If we are talking in technical ability, I believe Dean Melenko and Taz would be tied. Both knew more suplexes and holds then any other I could think of.
High flyers-Sabu, for his awesome distance, and the three jump moonsault(he would set a chair near the ropes, with an opponent near the middle of the ring, then jump over the opponent onto the chair, from the chair onto the rope, and then moonsault over the chair)
If were talking who could get the crowd going, Hulk Hogan is the top, followed by Undertaker and Shawn Micheals.

Easy...The Icon, The Main Event, The Showstopper, "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels! He really has it all. He can wrestle any style you throw at him and is always willing to take the big bump. He sells everything excellently and works great as a heel or a face. His mic skills have lagged since his return in 2002, but mic work with early DX and before is absoulety awesome. He can turn it on and off, evident by his feud with Hulk Hogan and how he ripped him apart. He is the man.

Well it's all staged, so I'm not sure there is a real answer for that. However, if I had to answer, I love the wrestlers from the 80s like Hulk Hogan, Jake the Snake, Coco B. Ware
