...saying that abortion IS Right. They say it is A right, but never Right. Why is this? Am I mistaken? Why do people who are IN THE RIGHT never fear saying that what THEY believe is JUST AND GOOD. Perhaps one of you can tell me abortion IS RIGHT and JUST and GOOD right now. I bet if I was looking into your eyes when you said it you wouldn't be looking back.

nice way to skirt the question jc.
as for it being good that women don't have to do it themselves. NO one in this country is forced to have an abortion, there are other options. A woman would never be in a possition were she would HAVE to stick a coat hanger up her **** if there werent any willing docters to perfrom an abortion.
last time i checked i am not part of my mothers body. having more people involved in the murder is worse than only one. look up the raped&impreganated statistics, they are next to none. right and wrong can not be haggled. right and wrong are self evident.
if every pregnant woman had an abortion would that be good? if every woman didnt have an abortion would that be good? pick one and stick to ur guns.

Having an abortion in a professional LEGAL health care facility is just and good in comparison with the alternative: a filthy back alley ILLEGAL butcher shop.

I am old enough to remember when abortion was illegal. It did NOT stop abortions, for any age, race, religious, or economic status. What it did do is it stopped safe abortions. Poor women had horrendous methods to accomplish it at home, wealthier women........well their doctors were paid under the table.

You appear confused as to what the pro-choice stand means. Having a Pro-choice stand is not the same as being pro-abortion. That is a very dangerous path you are treading, and it risks many more lives. Pro-choice is about keeping abortions legalized, to save lives. It protects the health of women who do choose to have an abortion so that they can go to a licensed medical facility for the procedure. It is not about any one person believing that to have an abortion is or is not the right thing to do. Personal choice and personal accountability remain with the individual, their family, and their God. Their health and well-being if they choose to terminate the pregnancy is not at stake with pro-choice. When abortions were illegal, many of our mothers, sisters, grandmothers, and friends died. Illegalizing abortion would take more lives than it would save.

Being Pro-choice is Right and Just and Good! I am looking you in the eyes, and I am hoping you will find the peace you are looking for.

I would not have an abortion. If I did, it would be my choice, and then the republicans could not say--for instance- I suddenly need food stamps--that it is going to come out of their pockets!
In 1987, I figured it up, my husband worked 40 hours a week, he brought home 24 hours a week pay--no 401--rest went to government. It was not fair. His brother who got food stamps at that time, would come by his work place to beg for money?
The very worst part he was x-military--and some man plowed into him while he had a green light taking his brother-in-law to work. He could have claimed the hospital bills to champus, instead he said the other guy should have to pay of which about ruined us. His last two checks from the company leaving the state--wages were garnished-we survived barely!
The accident we barely evened out what the truck was worth, nothing for medical pain, nor that my son was tossed around like an air balloon---1987.

I helped him as much as i could so time off would be just that. I mowed the lawn-over 1 acrea with push mower.
Still it does not seem fair.
The company he worked for moved here for 2 years-the length of tax break then moved on.
It sure left us high and dry.

I dont have a problem with telling you or anyone else that I think its every womans right to choose. Do I think its right to use it as a means of birth control? Of course not. But you or anyone else has no right to tell me what I should or could do with my own body. You dont know every situation a woman is in when she decides to have an abortion. have you every been impregnanted by rape? Have you ever had a tubal pregnancy? granted, to have sex without use of birth control with the thought that you can always have an abortion because you dont wanna "ruin the mood" is a nauseating thought. Its a moral issue that each woman has earned the right to make for themselves. Ive been on every spectrum regarding pregnancies, including abortion because I chose not to humilate my family further when I was 16 after i had already had a child at 13 after a rape.
Dont assume everyones situation is the same.

Because abortion isn't a good thing. It is a NECESSARY EVIL because our society does NOT take care of all the children we produce.

abortion is not 'RIGHT'. it's a choice.

a face lift is not 'right' but it's a choice.

having your 'tubes tied' is not 'right' but it's a choice.

we can go on and on about what's not right and what's not A right.
