I agree with most of the other answers--"Prisoner of Azkaban" is my favorite. In addition to getting the story right, I like the great scenes between David Thewlis character and Harry, and the depiction of Hermione. The film is directed very well, too!

i think Harry Potter and The prisoner of Azkaban is the best film adaption!

the best would be the third one. the pace is just nice and there was a neat summary of the entire third book. the first movie was a tad long and boring- Dumbledore was so old in that one. the last one was too senseless. Dumbledore is such a respectable figure in the magical community- but the entire behavior as projected in the last movie showed him to be otherwise. yuck!

The prisoner of Azksaban because it was almost jut like the book. The goblet of fire didnt cover a much as the book did. Azskaban waswell directed and it was the most suspenseful

For me it would be the next coming film adaptation "order of the Phoenix", even though haven't wach it yet, I have already seen it's trailer and it was really good! (just suggesting)

Goblet of Fire.
The kids actually acted pretty well, it was well written (even though they cut out MASSIVE amounts of story), and they rose to the challenge of the Triwizard Tournament and the World Cup.

The third one. I liked the way Hermione was in that one. I wish she'd stay that strong and confident. But she ends up in side kick mode in the other movies.
