You can try The AdvertiserNetwork.com.I used it to look up a marriage license in their archives some time ago for my ex-wife.Turns out she had been re-married a few more times than I expected!

city hall , you may be able to get records on line if you know where he may have remarried
google his name and see you never know
also look in the local papers, some areas post a listing of licenses issued

try using his socal security number as well date of birth and the county auditors office that handles marrage records can pull this up with in minutes. ?
