The best things in life really are free such as a winter sunrise, the scent of wild flowers, the sound of children laughing, a newborn baby crying for the first time, the scent of the air while and after a heavy rain on a hot day. Holding hands with the one you love, (after 27 years of marriage), seeing a rainbow, watching a humming bird or butterfly flutter about from flower to flower. Holding your first born in your arms for the first time. I like all the things you listed too, but there is beauty everywhere if you just look for it. :-)

My family, my cats, my boyfriend, beef jerky, music, movies, Reeses Buttercups, cupcakes, books, a thunderstorm, the smell after it rains, the smell of new clothes and being able to hear, see, smell, walk and all the other things in life that make me fortunate, that some aren't too fortunate of having. I'm very grateful.

Mine is my son and as a close second the rest of my family.I don' t think your answers are pathetic. I think it is nice to see some one who appreciates the simple things.They too often get overlooked in place of wealth and material things, and in the end those things are actually pretty trivial.

Music, Anime, Movies, Boobs, Girls, Sex, Girls with tight butts, Computer, Japan, Foreign Languages, History, Videogames, Sleeping in a nice warm bed in a really cold room, Hot bath after a long day of work, and chicken strips with fries.
