Sending bills to lawyers is normal, but a collection agency bill is not? Ask your lawyer what is going on? Has he filed suit?
Ask your Insurance agency are u paying my medical bills---if full coverage they will then sue the other company, that way u do not need a lawyer.

depending on the collections letters you got i would contact them and try to work it out with them and get a copy of your injuries to send to them in case they don't beleive you that you are hurt. lawyers won't pay anything unless a judge orders them to, also check your auto insurance policy as far as disablity clauses, you might be able to get them to catch up on your bills

Yes it is. He never intended to pay the bills, he only wanted them for information. You need to consult with him in person again and find out where you stand.
