DS Lite. It is an up and coming console. The Nintendo WiFi connection is a much better online service than the 3rd party stuff from Sony. Not to mention that the PS2 is going to die pretty much after November 17th. So definately go with the DS.

it depends on what your looking for. a Nintendo ds lite is cool because it is portable and has some really good Nintendo only games such as all the Mario titles. the PS2 will have better graphics and more enhancements like dance pads or so on but must be played through a television or other screen. i suppose if you want something travel friendly like the ds you could also look into a (PSP) PlayStation portable which is the Sony version of a portable system this is a nice system because its a multimedia machine capable of being a music player, game console, and picture and video viewer. also both of these portable systems are wireless Internet compatible meaning you can browse the Internet and connect to friends to play together.

Well, PS2 is dying down, what with the PS3 coming out next month, so there are a number of great, affordable titles for you to pick up if you get one (even though few new titles are being made.)
The DS, on the other hand, is on the rise...the games are a bit more expensive, but they're going to be making new ones for the next few years, so you have no worry about it becoming obselete like the PS2...
It really comes down to your call...Both systems have made me pretty happy. Good luck!

If you meant a PSP or a DS. Go with the DS it has twice as many good quaility games.
If you meant a PS2 or a DS. Get the PS2. God of war 2 and Guitar Hero 2 come out soon ^_^.

Depends if you work very far or go to vcation many places then DS or PSP. If you go to wark very close from ur house and come back home PS2 X box or gamecube. Gamecube is mostly for family games. Ps2 is more like action and adventure games. X box is mostly for Violence like FPS (First person shooter)

ps2, ds lite is a waste compared to a PSP, and ps2 has much better graphics and a much wider availability of incredibly good games.
If you go with PS2, i recommend the Ratchet and Clank series, it's incredibly good.
