First of all, write a "treatment". A basic 2-3 page synopsis or story outline. Then take that brief manuscript to the Writer's Guild Of America (located in New York and Los Angeles) and register the material with them for a 5 year period for $20. Then your material is 'somewhat' protected. Next, find a writer you like the work of, John August wrote "Big Fish", William Goldman wrote "Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid", etc., then contact their agent and submit your treatment to them for consideration in writing it for you. Be prepared to offer a 6 figure sum of money for them to do so. Good luck.....
