I hear a lot of it being a civil war between the rich and the poor because of the continual drop of the middle class. Opinions, thoughts?

Although very unlikely but if it happens it will be due to GLOBALIZATION and will be directed against its supporters and only after the system collapsed.

Interesting. I read this book called Rich Dad poor Dad. Before reading it I was very much angry at the wealthy but after reading and understanding as to how the rich get rich and stay rich I have a new perspective. Regardless, wars will always be fought out of greed and ignorance by some. Resolved by the educated, knowledgeable and wise.

Rich and poor are not going to fight a war. One-five percent of the world hold like 90 percent of the wealth, rich people are to smart for that and the economy will colaps. The next big issues are going to be like censure ship, freedom of choice and immigration/undocumented workers, maybe abortions.
The only one of these that could cause a civil war though i would think would be immigration, and it'd be called something like civil unrest because one part of the country wouldn't be fighting another, there'd just be fun with riots and stuff.

California will secede from the union because idiotic presidents from Texas think California is a lost cause. The idiotic president doesn't realize that as the economy goes in California, so goes the rest of the country. The only Republican that ever cared about California was Reagan. Clinton made more trips to California in one year than both Bushies did combined.

Historically speaking, civil wars almost NEVER start from the bottom. They start from discontent in the middle class. The reason for this is the lower classes are hoplessly dependent on the rich and would have nothing to gain from killing them.

The next Civil War will be fought because of "cultural issues." It will be fought over such things as:
The slice of swiss cheese separating church and state.
Abortion.
Gay rights.
Interpretting the Constitution: with discipline or with abandon?

RACE!!!!!!! It is sad but what used to be minorities are now taking and demanding more and more..... examples- Affrim Action still existing, Mich Law School giving points on race, UNCF but illegal for one based on white people, Spanish language push....could go on and on...................
