Does anyone else think relegion has gone too far?

I just watched a wedding show where a Jew and a Russian were getting married. Now don't get me wrong I am not against relegion, but throwing out food that's not 'kosher'!? Think about it, there are kids on the other side of the world that are starving, and on this side of the world there are people throwing away food because it's not 'kosher'. I can understand why they would want their food like that, but come on people. The end of the world is coming because Jews, Christians, Catholics, and all the other large religions are taking it too far.
If you agree let me know, if you don't tell me why.

And yet... you call yourself an angel... a green one... but an angel none the less... have you gone too far in questioning what others believe as far as religion, because myself... I can't get enough of the Lord in my life. I know I won't be any color angel without him, and the world needs more of Him. People go to far where religion is concerned when they don't invite the Lord into their lives. Taking prayer out of the class room is going too far... not saying Merry Christmas but being forced to say Happy Holidays is going too far... don't you agree??

if you are commanded by G-D to do something. would it be wise to disrespect G-D and not do as commanded? you need to read TheTorah before you make any judgments, on the yehoodah or evareem(they are not called jews in TheTorah). they are commanded to eat, certain foods as described in TheTorah. and many feel, that it would be a sin, to give food not acceptable to them, to anyone eles. if you go to an orthodox home, to eat dinner with them, they are not going to serve you cheesburgers. and the end of the world is not comming just because of yehoodah, muslems, catholics or protestants. you only get 6818 man years( one week of G-D) to get this right. and you are not doing any better than they are. everyone on this planet is the problem. People tend to go to the extremes to show others that they exist. It is a form of assertion. With passage of time, when they are accepted in society, they become milder in nature and tolerate others also. I agree that the food, which is non-conumable by Jews, cud be given to the needy in stead of increasing the load of the local body by throwing it in the dust bin.

I think religion in itself is harmless. It's how people use it as an excuse, expoit it to control others and hide their actions behind it that is dangerous. This is my personal opinion.
