I will command everyone to stop using ridiculous single letter abbreviations for entire words when online, I will forbid silly acronyms for behavior like (here I shudder) "lol" when online, and I will banish anyone who using an "emoticon" when online.
Seriously, of what am I to be king? A modern country that retains its royalty? Then in that case, I'll go preside at charity functions and conduct whatever silly rituals are required of me by my subjects.
If I'm a king, back in the days of yore, then I'll try to expand my country's commerce, prestige and position by conquering other places. If I'm a small time king, I'll try to become a large one. If I'm a big time king, I'll try to become an emperor. Onwards and upwards, eh what? What?

I will take care of those who can't take care of themselves, only fight defensive wars, and make beer and wine available to all my subjects. I would only allow my subjects to work 30 hour weeks, have 3 day weekends, and have a program where more festivals and holidays are observed. The only thing I ask from my subjects is that whenever they go to a pub to drink their free ale, they toast the first drink to the king.

These' lot of of things tat can be done but the 1 thing i definitely do, is to graciously step down from the throne, rather having people overthrow or oust me down

2) homeless
3) animal activism/stringent laws & penalties
4) pay adjustments-more for teachers, law enforcement, etc. less for govt. officials
5) healthcare
6) marijuana legal/alcohol purchases strictly monitored/cigarettes & ciars banned
7) mental health institutions

i would stop the war,i would help homeless people,allow young people to smoke,make all kind of drugs legal (i wasnot seriouse about the last two)
