If anything else, curiosity. Why not continue life? There's got to be something there, something in life. Why not find out what it is? If life IS a cycle of happy moments and let down then why do we even exist? Our point in life can't just be that? Something is there, we just haven't found it yet. Your thinking IF life is a cycle of happiness and ... unhappiness (for lack of better word) - What if it's not. That's something we may never know.

Well, the answer is simple. Everyone in this Earth are born to do something. They are born to do something good. There is a saying "Everything is okay in the End, If it is not okay then it is not the end" you understand? Don't think you have no use of continueing life. People just don't realise that when it comes to being self-motivated it is all up to you to keep your spirits up. Life can be tough at times but that is what life is all about. If you get everything and anything that you ask for then its not called life. Life has its ups and downs. Just continue with life as you have always done so. Wipe that sad Face off you! And keep Smiling! :) because you never know who is falling in love with your smile! You may be sad, devastated about what has happened in the past but why not we forget the past and continue with the future. Tommorow may never be there so lets be happy today and keep everyone else happy around us. That is the best gift you can give to anyone. Try thinking good for others and the good deed will come back to you someday, somehow, somewhere. Never frown! God has given you a beautiful smile so learn to smile! Keep Smiling! And don't you ever have a quetion like that because you ar born to live and every child is the gift of god!

You need to abandon your dejected philosophy of life. The objective of life is to "apprehend it" and “conquer it”. Don't let it master you; you must master it. Everyone self-creates their own destiny and fate in life. You are what you think. If you have a negative, dismal and pessimistic outlook on life, then that is exactly how your life will also manifest for you. If you have a positive, dynamic and energetic outlook on life, then that is exactly how your life will also manifest for you. Life is a sacred and profound Gift from God. Life is too short; do not delay start this minute, live it with unmitigated vitality and zeal. Focus outside yourself and onto others. Do not make the mistake of self-absorption, the “Hell of Self”. Break out of the self. Be purposeful to the world beyond yourself. Take the high road. This will materialize for you a profound sense of being and self-affirming True Joy.

Since there's no afterlife, not even one scintella of evidence, then a suicide would be a waste. The only true meaning to life is to decrease pain and increase pleasure....all else is lost to oblivion.
While it might be nice to visit long dead relatives (if you can find them among the 106 billions souls who have ever walked the earth) without proof, its just fanciful thinking. The idea of an afterlife helped to cushion humans from the despairing reality of our utter death and annihilation. It does not reflect objective reality....sorry
Of course, this doesn't answer your question directly, since life sometimes is a cycle, the idea of not continuing life was what i was trying to answer...hope this helps.

It is totally up to you how much you get out of life. I think the greatest joys come from helping and reaching out to others.
If you do that you will have let-downs, but they will be small ones and will be outweighed by the joys in living.
You sound a little depressed. Try to come out of yourself a little more and relate better to others. That is where you will find your greatest happiness and your purpose for living.

its easy to complaint to life but not so easy to see the reality.if u r unsatisfird with ur life then for a min think of those millions of people which live in even limited means than u. there r over 200 million people on this earth who dont hav even for one time to eat.The computer which u r using is available to only 1% of population still!!!!!
i give u a way ,when u start to unsatisfy with ur good happenings think of those people who may be still striving for that things but dont hav it in theor luck.if somthing wrong goes then thought of good things u still hav.(u should literally try these things for 1min in alone)

There are things still for you to do:). There is a reason for you to be here. I know sometimes the world seems like a horrible place, but stick around. It's really better than you think. Last year, I was living on the street. this year, I live in a mansion(I had alot of help getting here). We are "here" to learn. change your life, don't think about ending it. there are alot of places you probly not been yet. go there;)

When God closes one door, He opens another. In other words, if He takes something away, or allows something to be taken away, it is so He can give something better.
Try reading the book of Job, in the Old Testament of the Bible.
