When i push the "on" button, it clicks like it's trying, but it does not come on. The "on" light came on once, but that was it. It had been working just fine yesterday. It is a Hitachi big screen, model #55EX7K, made in February,1994.

Actually try unplugging, let it set, and plug it back in.

This type of tv's are good at doing that, Its the tube inside thats gone out. After my dad retired from being a cop he started a store called Mr.Steve's rentals and they would get big screens that would come in and do that. Your better off getting a new one then trying to fix it cause onces it gone its gone.
