If you could choose the era, which era would you choose? Founder era? Tom Marvolo Riddle era?Marauder era? Harry Potter era? Or else?
If you could choose the house you wish in, which one will you prefer? Gryffindor? Ravenclaw? Hufflepuff? Slytherin?
What would be your most favorite subject in Hogwarts?
Personally, I want to sudy in the Founder era! Learn directly from the Godric, Rowena, Helga, and Salazar themselves are one-in-lifetime experience! Second option of course Harry Potter era... I have no interest in the others.
I prefer being sorted to Slytherin. Not because I'm being pure evil or having such mud-blood prejudice or having such I-hate-Gryffindor syndrome... but because I'm cunning and ambitious, and I know it! I'm not daring enough to be in Gryffindor, I have little hardwork to be in Huffflepuff, and I don't like to JUST study, study, and study to be in Ravenclaw!

The problem being in Slyterin is, the other houses have severe prejudice toward Slytherin (we're NOT all evil you know!) and it's difficult to have true friends in Slytherin (yeah, too many "sly" here).
My favorite subject would be Potions, because its art is amazing! Felix Felicis will be my top priority in Potion-making list! Muggle studies is also cool! Imagine the idea of combining science in Muggle and magic in Wizardy... that would be superb! Flying car is just one example!
How about you then? Take it... or leave it?

Great question! If I was accepted to attend Hogwarts I would definitely go! I'd prefer to be there during the Marauders era because I'd love to be there with Lucius, Snape, and of course, the Marauders. If I could choose my House I would go into Slytherin, and I'm sure that is where the Sorting Hat would place me anyway. My favorite subject would be potions too. I'd be fascinated with the possibilities (wit-sharpening, forgetfulness, poly juice potions, felix felicis, amortentia, etc) and I have the patience, attention to detail and desire that are necessary for success in a class where precision is so important. I'd also be really interested in Defense Against the Dark Arts because it is important to know how to defend yourself.
Learning directly from the four founders would be my second choice, only because I'm so interested in the characters that would've been at Hogwarts during the Marauders time there. I'd hex Narcissa into oblivion and have my way with Lucius. I'd not be drawn into the Death Eaters though because I don't share their beliefs and I'd have no interest in being subservient to their sociopath leader. I'm suited for Slytherin because although I do have traits that are valued in the other Houses, my first priority is taking care of myself and my own (family and close friends). I'm not evil or prejudiced, but I am cunning and ambitious. I'm brave enough to be a Gryffindor, but not willing to take any unnecessary risks and justify my actions to a certain degree. And to be honest, Slytherin appeals to my dark side.
It is true that other Houses are prejudiced against Slytherin, but I'm an individual that has no problem proving my worth. It would be difficult to find true friends in Slytherin, but people have to earn my trust and respect so I'm not apt to misjudge who is worthy of my friendship. I think that friends in Slytherin would accept you as you are, unlike the other Houses that seem to expect everyone to be kind, cheerful, noble and virtuous all of the time.

Hmm, I'd take the opportunity, of course!
The Harry Potter era is the most appealing, given its high excitement factor. It's dangerous, yes, but it's history in the making - the stuff that history books would spend chapters and chapters on.
As for the House...
I do like Slytherin as a house because I am quite ambitious, but I don't know if I'd agree with the whole "the end justifies the means" concept. Seeing as I'm in conflict with one of the pillars, as it were, of Slytherin ideology, I'd have to say I'd pick Ravenclaw. I'm academically motivated, I bury myself in my studies all day and I'm known to be a bit of a brain.
My favorite class? Probably transfiguration or DADA. Potions sounds very interesting, but I doubt I'll be that exceptional at it; History of Magic would be fun with a good professor; muggle studies would seem a bit redundant; my decidedly un-green thumb might kill everything I touch in Herbology... You get the picture =)

Harry Potter era definatly! That's when all the action is going down! :)
I think I'd be in Gryffindor, because when trouble happens I'm usually pretty fearless. However I might be in Slytherin, because I'm very ambitious. I'm not nice enough to be in hufflepuff, and I'm too lazy for Ravenclaw! I think I would like transfiguration best! That or care of magical creatures :)

You're kidding with that first question, right? OF COURSE I'd go! I'd probably want to be in the Modern, Harry Potter era--not so much for the excitement as because I'm a spoiled modern teenager and I wouldn't want to live in the Dark Ages, witch or not. I'd like to be in Gryffindor but I would probably wind up in Ravenclaw because I'm not as brave as I wish I was. And my favorite class would probably be Defense Against the Dark Arts--assuming the endless procession of horrible teachers didn't turn me off. Hopefully I'd have the sense to enjoy learning from Lupin while he was around.

I would definately join up! Who doesn't want to run away from a realistic world into fantasy? I would be in either Ravenclaw or Gryffindor. I would be good at all subjects but History (couldn't concentrate through the boring lectures) and Divination. My favorite subjects would be DADA, transfiguration, charms, and care of magical creatures. I would be friends with Harry, Ron, and Hermione, but probably best friends with Neville and Luna, they are both very brave and unique. I wouldn't play quidditch, I would be a commentator. I would help to fight Snape and Lord Voldemort to the death in a second if given the chance. FYI: I don't believe in any of this stuff, but the books are very talented writing and interesting story line. And if it were true, that is definately what I would be.

Harry Potter era. I'd be in Gryffindor and my favorite class would be Charms.
Yes, I'm a 30 year old Harry Potter fan. Probably one of the greatest adventure series in the last 30 years. Next to Star Wars, perhaps.

I would totally take it!!!
The era...hmmm...that's a toughie. I think the Harry Potter era, just because that is the most modern era, and we tend to appreciate our own era more than we appreciate others.
I'm definitely a Ravenclaw. I'm too reserved to be a Gryffindor, although that would be my second choice.
I think I would like Potions or Transfiguration best, just because they both seem quite practical. Herbology seems quite interesting, too.
As an adult, I think I would like to teach Transfiguration best, because I think it would be hilarious to watch all the students making weird transfiguration mistakes, such as having a bowl that meows at you, or an onion with wings!

I would have freaked out and probably passed out hadi I not read Harry Poter already but now, perhaps I will go there too and Hermione type Gryffindor. I am brave and just cannot keep my nose out of books. And I love to be at the top of all the classes and be Miss Know-it-all. Harry Potter era of course, that is the time that has most adventures and dangers and challenges, of course. Don't ask me to choose between the subjects, coz I just love them all and cannot think to leave or underestimate use of any of them.

Let's see...I would probably choose the Harry Potter era. It sounds the most interesting and fun!! (Not to mention exciting and a little dangerous at times) I would want to be in Gryffindor House. I find that I am (to use your words) ambitious and daring. I think that my most favorite subject at Hogwarts would probably be transfirguation. It just sounds so cool!!! That or maybe charms. But definitely NOT potions or History of Magic. It would be sooo cool to attend Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry!!!

Wow. um ok.take it definitely. i would choose founder era because it was the only one where they werent all tortured by fear of voldemort and what not. it would be interesting to attend when everything was happy and cheerful. I would choose gryffindor, not because of harry potter but because i would be too lazy for H and R and slytherin doesnt match my personality. Favorite subject would be potions as well because there are no limits.
